Overview
Standard AI built an autonomous checkout and AI vision platform for physical retail. I was part of the team that turned raw computer vision data into actionable interfaces — apps that store operators and loss prevention teams used daily.
What I Built
Store Monitoring App — A real-time operations dashboard for retail staff. The app surfaced live feeds from the AI vision system, flagging theft events, low-inventory conditions, and shelf anomalies. Built shelf heatmaps showing customer dwell time and traffic patterns. All data streamed in real time via WebSocket.
Consumer Checkout App — A checkout-free shopping experience with NFC-based item detection and an iPad POS for assisted checkout via QR code scanning.
Vision OS Pivot — When Standard AI pivoted from autonomous checkout to SaaS analytics, I contributed to rebuilding the platform as Vision OS — a multi-tenant analytics product for retail chains.
